Surprise! I've started a new blog. I've wanted to take things in a new direction for quite a while, and have just recently taken the time to do it. Because of some changes in my life, I have a lot less free time than I used to- and because of that, I can't promise that this blog will be updated with a lot of regularity. For example, I had hoped to continue my Compassion Joys posts on my old blog, moving them to every other month instead of every month because of time management issues. February went well, but April came and went with no post! Also, because our list of kids is constantly fluctuating, I probably won't be able to maintain a very accurate and up-to-date list of the members in our far-away family. But I will try to update it every few months. :)
For more posts, with a little more regularity, please check out my facebook page. It's open to the public and you can follow along there to see a little bit about my kids, and read some news stories from around the world. I will also share post from this blog on that page- usually just pastor letters and things like that, as it's easier to type those out here instead of creating a giant facebook post about them.
I hope at least a few people from my old blog will also follow my stories over here. I know that blogging seems to be a medium that is on its way out the door- and I probably would have stopped altogether, but I do want to keep it around for wordier posts, which can look cluttered (and get skipped over) on places like Facebook!
